STOP THIS CLICK/LIKEBAIT CRAP!
It was just an ordinary day, you’re looking forward to a new and successful day (is that a thing?) and then in a little check on your Facebook news feed, you saw this crap,
and this,
and this one…
oh, you wanted more? Don’t worry it will be on your feed every day, every. Single. Day. So what is with this stuff? Why does this even exist? And why the heck would you care of typing “AMEN” to a post if you can say “AMEN” to a prayer (a REAL prayer) instead?
First off, what is a “Like-bait?” according to UrbanDictionary.com, “A POINTLESSLY sentimental Facebook status posted specifically to earn the user "likes."
Pointless, what a word, I think we all do know what pointless means, and I believe it doesn’t need more explanations, because when we say pointless, it is simply pointless, it doesn’t express feelings, it doesn’t put interest on the viewer, more like drama than a content (amirite?)
Ever since I started to use facebook years ago, this has been a thing, I do not know what came to their minds so they could create this POINTLESS crap…
#1: Man, I really should make a change on Facebook, it’s so boring with these connect to people stuff.
#2: Yeah, we should do some annoying pictures, gross or something to be sad of, or some pictures of Jesus, so that people won’t resist it and type AMEN and like our posts.
#1: Oh my goodness, you’re thinking what I’m thinking?
I don’t know maybe that happened, or something. But the point is, these people who keep doing this crap for a long time should know that through time, it gets annoying and annoying, and they should change their gimmick, like getting a real job, or a real life, or kneel and do a real prayer so their “AMEN” will be meaningful. I do not intend to hurt people who did this but look at the people who do great content, they put effort and hard work at their posts so that they struggle to be with the big guys, including me, I know there’s a lot of people who do blogs and complain about this thing but my message to those people who do “like-bait” kinds of stuff, please just stop it, it will never matter, and life never revolves around the internet, and please stop using Jesus as your “like-bait” subject, use Flying Spaghetti Monster instead, you know for a change, let’s see if it’ll work. More Content, Less Drama… Oh, wait.
